20th April - The senior presentation night, when the First, Reserves and Under 18's hand out their gongs, is to be held at the club on Friday 11th May. Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome to do so, the festivities start at 7.30pm.

The club has been allocated two tickets for next weekends FA Cup Final. We don't know whether they are in the Liverpool or Chelsea end at the moment but if any CLUB MEMBER is interested in going they are available for £238.00. Just email the website info@nptfc.co.uk with your name and contact details and we will then hold a draw on Thursday evening to see who is successful (full payment will be required upon collection of the tickets Friday).

7th April - Manager Darren Lynch has won the UCL March Manager of the Month award. In making the award the league said 'Newport made light of a series of away games to post a seven match points tally of 19 during March, their only points dropped in the first match of the month at Boston. Their other five away games were won along with a solitary home encounter with Desborough, form which earned summer appointee Lynch his first managerial accolade.'

24th March - Former Reserve Team player and current Under 14 Coach Ben Ford has signed for Conference club Kettering Town. Ben, who had recently forced his way into the Poppies first team, has signed a three year contract at Nene Park. On behalf of all at Willen Road I would like to wish Ben all the best for the future. 19th March - The U12 Tigers have today won Division Three of the Borders Counties League with 2 games still to play. Having been runners up for the past 2 seasons, they are very happy boys and can now join the U14s at the league presentations. They didn't have a game today but other results went their way.

Meanwhile the Under 14 Tigers lost in their cup semi-final going down 2-0 to Emberton.

10th March - Congratulations to the U14 Tigers who won the Division Three Borders Counties League with 4 games left to play.

3rd March - Congratulations to Matt Childs and his Under 15's who are through to the final if the Berks and Bucks Cup.

Earlier today they beat Slough Irish 5-1 with goals from M Sundire (3), L Mangal and G Boland. The final is to be played at Abingdon Town FC on April 29th.

You may remember that 18 months ago one of our youth players, Lucas Pritchard (left), was diagnosed with Leaukemia. I am pleased to report that Lucas is doing really well and that since he was diagnosed, over £10,000 has been raised for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. Click here for further details.
