Club Policies

Newport Pagnell Town Football Club is a Charter Standards football club. This means we recognise the value of our members, and subscribe to The FA's best practice guidelines in encouraging and developing our member players through a positive attitude and technical expertise in a safe, friendly and enjoyable environment. The Club spans over a wide age range covering nursery, youth and a first team sections.

All of our Club teams have qualified coaching staff, and they are Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked through The FA. Our coaches are encouraged to complete The FA training plan, so as to deliver age appropriate training and development for their team(s). The Club equally covers a range of playing abilities and skills of Club members, and provides an environment for improving individual playing standards and game awareness. Our simplistic intent is to nurture players through the Club so that they have the opportunity of improving and aspiring to the first team at adult level.

Social aspects such as sportsmanship and support to The FA's RESPECT campaign are also fostered within the Club.

The Club has in place Policies as would be expected such as Children Protection, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity, General Conduct, role specific Codes of Conduct, and a Training Policy. Likewise The Club has age specific Committees to ensure these Policies are adhered to, and if necessary, a Disciplinary Policy to impose any sanction(s) deemed necessary.

The Club is run by volunteers, and as such is operated on best and realistic endeavours. We work closely with The FA and relevant associations and authorities to ensure the Club meets its obligations regarding these Policies. With our Club officials, membership base and number of teams we consider we have strength in both width and depth to be able to support our players be the best they can, enjoy their football, and help promote the Club within the local community. The Club is committed to encouraging  the development of its member players, coaching staff to improve levels of play and awareness, and the opportunity of playing football to the highest possible standards whilst having fun!
